Welcome to the Department of Statistics at the University of Manitoba! Established in 1967, the Department is one of the oldest and largest in Canada. It currently has 15 full-time academic members, with research expertise in diverse areas of Statistics and Probability. It offers a full range of programs in Statistics, leading to B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees.
The University of Manitoba is western Canada’s first university, established in 1877.
